Zoning Chief

Clay County is seeking a dynamic leader for our next Zoning Chief who will perform advanced, specialized professional work for the Economic and Development Services Department. The position is responsible for coordinating and managing the activities of the Zoning Office. Duties are performed in accordance with Zoning Ordinance and general policy guidelines, but wide latitude is given for responsible, independent judgment.  Work includes extensive public contact, frequently of a delicate nature, requiring the exercise of tact, good judgment, and extensive knowledge of the County’s laws and ordinances affecting zoning.
