Job Description:
Lake County Schools is seeking a Senior Planner to perform duties related to facilities, site and planning and serve as a liaison to other governmental agencies.
This positon manages all activities related to the district’s facilities planning process; including collaborating with district staff and various agencies to appropriately address planning and growth management concerns based on changing demographics and trends in population. Qualified candidates should have knowledge of local government land use development processes, policies and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Planning or related field;
American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) preferred;
Minimum five (5) years in growth and development planning within an educational institution;
Or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida’s driver’s license.
