Community Development Director

The City of Fruitland Park is seeking a community development director under the city manager.  Must have knowledge with the administration and enforcement of land development regulations; comprehensive plan; concurrency and growth management; and strategic planning; possess effective communication skills, and work with related planning organizations and the public.

 Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in planning, engineering, architecture, urban design etc.  Six years’ experience in planning, engineering, architecture, urban design or related field combined with preferred planning work experience in government. 

 Salaried exempt position $70,000 to $80,000 with full benefits.
