Planner

Responsible for a variety of tasks with professional level planning work in conducting independent studies, completing planning projects, and regulating the growth and development of the City in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan and other statutes, ordinances, and regulations related to land use and community development. Requires analytical thinking and problem-solving and the ability to provide detailed public presentations. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in urban planning, architecture, public policy, or related area and three years of local government planning experience.
