Planner I/II
The County of Volusia is seeking a Planner I/II, dependent on qualifications, for the Planning and Development Services Division. This position is located in DeLand, Florida, and will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting planning, environmental, and socio-economic information used to develop public policy and/or to support the Planning Division. The candidate must be able to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments and projects. Candidates must have a practical knowledge of planning practices, urban design principles, subdivision, and zoning regulations.
Planner ISalary: $48,740.00 – $66,046.00 annuallyBachelor’s degree in Planning or related field.
Planner IISalary: $57,638.00 – $78,882.00 annuallyMaster’s degree in Planning or related field; or Bachelor’s degree in Planning or related field and two (2) years of progressively responsible work in a public or private land development, zoning, or planning organization.
