With great leadership retiring, Clay County is seeking a new dynamic leader for our next Director of Planning and Zoning. This position is responsible for staff supervision; amending, updating, and implementing the County Comprehensive Plan; developing and administering master plans and performing detailed design and architectural reviews for high-growth areas; directing short and long-range transportation planning and financing for the County; managing the division budget, purchases and contracts; ensuring ordinance, statute and regulation compliance.
