Principal Planner

Highly technical position primarily responsible for the planning, zoning, and research functions of the department, works with considerable initiative and judgment. Assists the Community Development Director in the administration of the department, particularly with relation to planning and zoning activities; undertakes a variety of long range and current planning projects and responsibilities. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Planning or closely related field. Master’s Degree preferred. Two years’ experience in municipal or county planning and zoning. Salary range $62,860.45 – $94,290.67 annually.
