Planning Technician
Under general supervision, the Planning Technician performs administrative functions related to planning, technical planning review, inspection, and administrative functions for the Land Development Division. Work involves planning-level review for compliance with land development regulations, occasional field inspections, and answering basic planning and zoning questions from the general public. Considerable independent judgment and initiative are required in carrying out administrative and planning principles and practices in accordance with established policies and regulations. Considerable tact and courtesy are required in dealing with customers and the general public. This position reports to the Growth Management Director or designee.
