MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
The County of Volusia is seeking an experienced Planner II – Working Title: Historic Preservation Officer for the Planning and Development Services Division. This position is located in DeLand, Florida, and will be responsible for performing highly technical land use research and analysis for a variety of long-range planning projects, developing goals, objectives, and policies for the Comprehensive Plan, and conducting community outreach with the public and community stakeholders. Depending on the knowledge, skills and experience of the selected candidate, this position could be assigned a working title of Volusia County Historic Preservation Officer.
