Salary: $46,155.20 – $73,798.40 Annually

This position is in the Comprehensive Planning Division. The Planner Performs professional  and technical work developing, researching, and maintaining public planning studies and programs. Work involves technical and creative responsibility conducting research and plan review and preparing detailed studies on land use, zoning, conservation, housing, transportation, population, coastal management, historic preservation, urban design, and other areas of comprehensive planning activities. The Planner ensures program compliance with criteria governing local, state, and federal legislature relating to growth management.

Minimum Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in urban/regional planning, environmental management, or related field is required.
  • Three years of experience in urban and regional planning.
  • Or an equivalent combination of relevant training, education, and experience.

 Licenses and/or Certificates: 

  • Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
