The Calusa Chapter of FPZA is hosting a Community Planning and Disaster Mitigation Forum Friday January 27, 2012. This regional event will be an opportunity to hear from planning professionals practicing around South Florida about the planning, modeling, and GIS challenges they face when handling Hazard Mitigation and Emergency Management. We’ll discuss the recently published Regional Evacuation Studies, the challenges that have resulted, and a variety of solutions. 

Join your fellow planners from around the state at the Bonita Springs Fire Station, 27701 Bonita Grande Dr., from 1 to 4pm January 27th. Advance registration for $10 is required, 2.75 AICP CM credits are pending, and refreshments will be provided.
