It is that time of year again! The 2009 FPZA Annual Conference is being held at the Hyatt Regency Downtown, Tampa, Florida June 10-13.

 

Our theme this year is Urban Places / Rural Spaces: Planning for Tomorrow. The conference registration forms will be going out soon! To give you a sneak peek, here are just a few of the sessions that we have planned:

 

  Rebuilding Place in the Urban Space: Join this panel for a discussion on the revitalization of downtown Tampa.

 

* Post Disaster Redevelopment: Learn how Hillsborough County is planning for the comprehensive long-term redevelopment of the community after a disaster.

 

*  Sustainable Design Assessment Team (SDAT): This program focuses on the importance of developing sustainable communities through design.
